The only disadvantage of the Galaxy S is having no flash for it's camera. =.= (really brought down the whole performance of the camera feature.) However, it's video recording of 720p, 30fps, has reduced the disappointment of it's camera feature slightly. XD
The best thing about this phone is actually the SUPER AMOLED SCREEN. It really deliver a superb and fascinating display and even the AMOLED screen can't stand beside it.
In addition, the Android 2.2 Froyo also will be available for Galaxy S too soon. It has been confirmed by Samsung. Now, the matter is how soon it is. =.=
Overall, I will call this a beast. XD This phone seems to be the most High-end Android phone for 2010. Nice job Samsung. But hopefully they will improve their supports to fulfill the demands of the customers tho.
Add on: Rumor said that HTC will come up with HTC Sabor by the end of 2010 or early 2011 with equipped of 2GHz processor (the think I doubt most. =.= current most powerful is only 1.5GHz), 10MP, 3G video call, Android 3.0 Gingerbread (seems to be too early for end of year 2010), and a new kind of display that can compete with SUPER AMOLED screen (as I know, HTC doesn't do screen display thingy like Samsung does.. =.= so, I really doubt bout this). Rumor is rumor~ Let's the time decide upon how reliable is this~ If it's true, it'll be a iPhone kill definitely. lol..
i agree with u, galaxy s performance looks great but still something lack behind such as user friendliness, no flash for the camera, plastic body, fingerprint magnet. But overall it is a powerful phone compare to the phone in the market now such as Google Nexus One, HTC desire, etc.

I heard that Samsung Galaxy S Android 2.1 can't support flash on browser yet~ how bout HTC desire? is it the same?
Heard that it supports for it already. Else, you may try to update the firmware to Android 2.2

Checked. The Desire already come up with the Android 2.2 update. so it can support flash 10 di~ good to hear that for HTC Desire fans~ XD but the matter is how much it improved from the Android 2.1? That's still an issue tho. O.o

pricing for this phone is RM 2599
Maxis plan, phone price is RM 1699

This is currently the best Android phone so far in 2010. Even the Desire Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 1 GHz processor is losing to Samsung Galaxy S ARM Cortex A8 1GHz processor. Samsung Galaxy S processor is x2-x3 faster than the snapdragon processor. You can see how much different it is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WNt1EQYheQ
