Since the technology so advanced, electric vehicle is not a dream, and now Nissan is trying to make it reality.
Electric Car is a car that no need any gasoline, no tailpipe (zero CO2 emission), no noise, and just using electric motor and battery to run the car. Since the oil price keep rising, why don't M'sia government encourage citizen to use electric car, and can reduce subsidies on fuel? And it can reduce the CO2 emission in our country.
Temporary, Nissan LEAF is the first 100% electric car that is mass-marketed. It will be release on late 2010 in US, Japan, European and 2011 release in China and other countries.
Spec:
Seating Capacity: 5
Max Speed: 140KM/H
Range: 160KM per charge
Charging time: 8Hrs(220V), Quick Charger <30mins charge upto 80% capacity
Output: 110 HP
Battery Capacity: 24KWh (Li-Ion)
Major Features: IT features (GPS, available charging station, charging timer, Music MP3 player etc.), Full LED headlamp & Taillight, Solar Panel for battery charging to run the IT system.

but i think TNB will earn more leh...haha
This car costing about 25000++ USD
So is around RM 88,000++ quite cheap compare with others hybrid car
