I run visual studio 2008 for the web development.... but my laptop lag and slow...
My laptop OS is Windows 7
Is it my laptop not enough requirement for windows 7?
my laptop spec is
Processor : Intel T2250 1.73Ghz 1mb FSB 533mhz
Ram : 2Gb ram
Hdd : Seagate 250 Sata
Graphic card: Intel GMA 950

since I use the windows 7 for few months, overall performance is better than vista and features is more than vista. On the stability and reliability part, my system working quite stable and very less bug.
Pros:
-Boot up time fast
-UI very smooth and almost no bug
-less requirement compare to vista
-almost no need to install driver after installation of windows.
-installation process is more simplified than vista
Cons:
-Disk cleanup seems cant clear many junk file- every time i clean up only few Mb only
-After disk defragment, show 0% fragmented will make user confuse whether is already defragment or not.
-Internet Explorer 8 also quite easy to crash
Overall, this is the less problems Windows I ever use.

Yes. Totally agree with Meng Si. Since Windows XP left behind, it come up to Windows Vista. Too many complain over there. Now, Windows 7, I had used it for half year times already, I can say this OS really nice~

This October will release Windows 7
But i suggest, better wait until microsoft release Windows 7 service pack 1. It will be more stable.

You're are right. But, for current version I already satisfied of it. I'm sure I will like Windows 7 lots. Haha
Hmm... Windows 7 not bad... But... If you are using 64 bits... quite troublesome when you doing programming stuff... especially in the installing the microsoft sql server...
